Removing Tile!

The pink tile is gone from the walls.  Still have to do the floor.

The magic tools is an electric chipping hammer.  Not too difficult to use, but at 11 lbs it does wear you out.  You use it to break through the tile and the 1" mortar bed so you can cut the metal lath with shears.  You get a 15 or 20 lb chunk of mortar with sharp tile and the front and even sharper lath on the back.  But it is off the wall.

 

Notice I didn't say gone.  I only said it was off the walls.  I was too tired at the end of the day to carry the pieces outside.
