What Pink Tile?

The pink tile is really gone now.  I took all those big slabs off the floor and then took the floor off the floor.  The floor was like the wall, complete with wire mesh, except that it was 2" thick instead of just 1".

Angela came over for a while this afternoon and helped me load all the broken bits of tile and mortar into garbage sacks. She also vacuumed.

I should have asked her to do the whole house. Taking out tile is worse than doing sheetrock. The dust is finer so it travels further, and all the bits your track around are gritty and sharp.  You don't want to know how much debris ended up in the laundry room

Here are some pictures of the bathroom (if you can still call it that) with the tile gone. It isn't as tidy as it was at one point because I started tearing down sheetrock. I'm afraid the lovely wallpaper is going, too.
